CENTRAL DEPOSITORY
The Central Depository is the division of the Royal Securities Exchange of Bhutan Ltd. that registers the securities of shareholders in its book entry records. Physical share Certificate of a seller is collected and kept in the custody of the depository at the time of selling or for the purpose safe keeping. The function of Securities Depository is same as that of a Bank, except it deals in securities deposits instead of cash.
